Founded by Geoff Wallis, GSW Facilities was built on a straightforward idea: commercial cleaning should be reliable, thorough, and easy for businesses to count on.
After noticing too many workplaces being let down by inconsistent standards and poor follow-through, Geoff saw an opportunity to raise the bar. In 2016, he backed himself and started GSW Facilities with a clear focus to deliver high-quality commercial cleaning with the kind of consistency and care that makes a real difference day to day.
Today, we support businesses across Northern NSW and South East Queensland, including the Northern Rivers, Gold Coast, Brisbane, and the Sunshine Coast. As we’ve grown, our priorities haven’t changed: clear communication, dependable service, and a clean, hygienic workplace you can feel proud of.

GEOFF WALLIS
Chief Executive Officer
Geoff Wallis founded GSW Facilities in 2016, building upon a housekeeping operation he had previously acquired and steadily expanded. With over a decade of experience in hospitality management and the cleaning industry, Geoff developed strong expertise in customer relations, operational management, and service delivery.
Driven by both his industry knowledge and an entrepreneurial vision, Geoff set out to create a company that prioritised quality, reliability, and long-term client partnerships. His leadership and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in establishing GSW Facilities as a trusted name within the industry.
In 2025, Geoff further extended the company’s footprint internationally by becoming Co-Founder of GTI Facilities USA. This expansion marks a significant milestone, reflecting his forward-thinking approach and dedication to growing the business beyond Australia while maintaining the same high standards that underpin the GSW brand.
STEVE WALLIS
Chief Operating Officer
Steve joined the GSW Facilities team in 2017, bringing with him extensive high-level sales experience and a strong background in customer relationship management. Known for his hands-on leadership style, Steve is highly regarded for his expertise in cleaning training and supervision, consistently ensuring teams operate to the highest standards.
In addition to his frontline capabilities, Steve oversees full business operations, including back-of-house administration, ensuring the company runs efficiently across all departments. Today, he leads the Australian division of GSW Facilities, driving performance, accountability, and a culture of excellence throughout the organisation.
Prior to joining GSW, Steve worked within the sales division of a large cleaning company, where he developed a strong understanding of client acquisition and retention strategies. He also brought with him a diverse and well-rounded skill set, having held roles in hotel management, roster coordination within the cleaning and security industries, and broader hospitality operations. Furthermore, his experience with a stock controlling company provided him with hands-on exposure to profit and loss management, inventory control, and operational cost management — skills that continue to support his strategic leadership within GSW.
MARISSA TE TAI
General Manager
Joining GSW Facilities in 2020 Marissa now serves as the General Manager at GSW Facilities, working alongside Geoff and Steve to lead the organization. In her capacity, she is responsible for overseeing both the sales and operations teams, ensuring seamless integration between the two departments to drive overall business success. Her strategic approach to management, coupled with her deep understanding of the company’s goals, enables her to streamline processes and boost performance at every level.
Additionally, Marissa plays a pivotal role in expanding GSW Facilities' presence internationally, actively contributing to operations with GTI Facilities in the United States. Her expertise in managing cross-functional teams and her ability to navigate complex operational challenges have made her a key player in ensuring the company’s continued growth both domestically and abroad.
HAYDEN VERCOE
Area Manager
Hayden’s career journey began in the retail industry, where he gained foundational skills in customer service and business operations. After several years, he transitioned into the cabinetry industry, spending a decade honing his craft. During this time, Hayden developed a keen eye for detail, a strong work ethic, and an in-depth understanding of precision and craftsmanship, all of which laid the groundwork for his future endeavors.
It was through his connections in the industry that Hayden met Geoff, which ultimately led him to take on the role of Area Manager with GSW Facilities. In this position, Hayden is able to combine his diverse background in retail, cabinetry, and operations management. He has spent the past four years specializing in the cleaning industry, where he has gained extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in cleaning protocols, staff management, and facility maintenance.
Today, Hayden brings over 4 years of specialized cleaning expertise to his role at GSW Facilities. His comprehensive experience, along with his dedication to maintaining high standards and operational efficiency, makes him a valued leader within the company. His multifaceted background uniquely positions him to effectively manage and improve the operations within the facilities under his care.
RYAN MACKENZIE
Area Manager
Ryan’s career trajectory showcases a unique blend of discipline, dedication, and expertise. After leaving school, he devoted over 20 years to his work as a personal trainer, where he honed a deep understanding of principles, work ethic, and the human body. His meticulous attention to detail, developed over years of assessing physical form and technique, became a cornerstone of his professional identity.
This foundation in precision and commitment did not go unnoticed. Geoff, having known Ryan for several years, recognized his exceptional qualities and offered him a role as one of the Area Managers for GSW Facilities. With over four years of experience in the cleaning industry, Ryan’s transition to this new field was seamless. His work ethic, combined with his innate ability to assess and optimize systems, has proven invaluable in maintaining the high standards GSW Facilities is known for.
Ryan’s deep knowledge of body mechanics and his precision-oriented mindset naturally transferred to his current role, where he brings an unmatched level of detail and professionalism to ensuring the cleanliness and organization of facilities. His ability to lead by example, cultivate high standards, and continuously refine processes has made him an essential asset to the GSW team.
